A new online database of music by women composers has been launched with the aim of bringing largely neglected works into the mainstream. Called – after composer Clara Schumann (left) – the site already lists 4,662 works from across four centuries, with many more yet to be added. It is the brainchild of harpsichordist Claire Bodin who can now add her name to the list of classical music’s notable cataloguers…
