PAUL, I just finished reading cover to cover the latest mag. I could not put it down as I found the LVVTA subject matter extremely interesting. Kudos to the way you have let this information flow in what seems to me a fully transparent and fair forum. All points offered by Bob Drey and Rex Moyle very eloquently summarised a great lead into your Part 2 of “My Cert”. My hope is this open discussion will bring some “give and take” plus “moderation” to those directly involved.

Here in British Columbia, we have nothing like LVVTA. Yes, we do have accountability, and vehicles can be subject to Inspection Notices at any time. To obtain plates, we must have our vehicles inspected, particularly if they have been modified and to my knowledge, we have not had incidents of failure causing catastrophes. Of course, the mental certification of any individual operating any vehicle can cause as much if not more damage than a mechanical one, so correcting any mechanical deficiencies is just one
