For someone who started her music career professionally six years ago, winning the Black Entertainment Television (BET) award came as a complete shock for Amapiano queen Charmaine “Sha Sha” Mapimbiro.
Last Sunday, the 25-year-old vocalist scooped the Best New International Act award at the 20th annual BET awards hosted virtually by American comedian and actress Amanda Seales.
