If the apocalypse comes this week, you’re in the best group of people in the world.”

They’re the words of Mark Burnett, a television producer with some 143 Emmy nominations to his name and a man who might know better than most about End Times. After all, his credits include not only The Voice, Shark Tank and Survivor but also The Apprentice, a show that some have suggested had more than a small role to play in giving us the current POTUS.

But Burnett was not talking about global politics. This was the night before his latest TV series was set to commence filming and he was standing before a room packed full of journalists, who reacted as Burnett had presumably intended. We all laughed.
