The year that is (2020) may well go down as ‘the year of the opinion’. If you don’t know the reasons, chances are you’ve been lucky enough to spend your compulsory holiday holed up beneath a project. Both the news and social media are inundated with it. Everyone from key political figures to armchair epidemiologists spews whatever biased sound bite they fancy regarding the current global status. But here’s a biased opinion that you really need to hear: race cars peaked in the 1990s. We don’t want a squeak of disagreement until you’ve heard us out—hell, you don’t even need to do your own research; we’ve done it for you.
