Jersey Heritage has launched the Historic Environment Record for Jersey (), a free website for the islandâs historic buildings and archaeological sites. The website features a searchable map of the island, with detailed information about each location. They include houses such as Somerleigh, a Victorian farmhouse that boasts historic features including a slate roof and flat, open-roofed porch. They also include military sites such as an early 19th-century military barracks office in Saint Helier, the remains of a former military complex, that was later used as a military prison and as a camp for prisoners of war by German military forces.
