ALL FOR THE LOVE OF EROS

SHE doesn’t pussyfoot around when it comes to her beloved Eros – he’s the light of her life, more like a child than a pet to her.

So when her blue-eyed boy was “ripped from my arms”, she wasn’t about to give up without a fight.

And now, eight years, hundreds of thousands of rands and many court appearances later, Alma van Zyl has finally won the claws-out struggle she embarked upon to get her treasured Sphynx cat home.

“My little boy was cruelly stolen from me,” Alma says. “And yes, Eros is my little boy. I’d do anything – anything – to have him in my arms.”
