DOWNTOWN DISCOVERIES

Adventure can happen anywhere — from a 14,000-foot snow-capped mountain peak to the busy streets of a major city.

That’s what Scouts in boys Troop 330 and girls Troop 2330, both of Campbell, California, discovered during a scavenger hunt in downtown San Francisco. They navigated the sometimes-confusing network of streets by bus, subway, cable car and on foot, trying to find both obscure sites and famous landmarks.
