Honestly, back in 1990, a group of BMW M engineers were working on a car that would have taken the word ‘powerful’ and stretched its definition into a whole new universe. Their planned M8 wouldn’t have been just a fast and tied-down version of the V12 8-Series coupe. It would have been a monster.
