Understanding charts and keys

Follow the steps below for an introduction to getting started, then use the simple instructions opposite to learn each stitch!

Reading the chart

Our charts are printed with coloured squares containing symbols that represent squares to be stitched on the fabric. The key alongside the chart will tell you what colour thread each symbol corresponds to, so you know which one to thread your needle with (see right).
