    Suspended and disbarred from his law firm after he’s exposed for having a fraudulent law degree, (Joel McHale) enrols at Greendale Community College to earn a legitimate degree. His endeavours are quickly distracted when he’s attracted to his classmate (Gillian Jacobs), prompting him to run a pretend study group to(Danny Pudi) to join the group and he in turn extends the invitation to a wider group of misfits, (Yvette Nicole Brown), (Alison Brie), (Donald Glover) and (Chevy Chase). Together, they form a close friendship as they manage the antics of their unstable teacher (Ken Jeong) and the College Dean, (Jim Rash).
