    fficially called ‘The Child’, this mysterious character is referred to as ‘Baby Yoda’ by many fans. The Child isn't a young Master Yoda, but he is the same unknown species as the legendary Jedi. While The Child is 50 years old, he is still young for his species and is a baby. Master Yoda was 900 years old when he died in The Return of the Jedi – five years before The Child was rescued.
