HOW TO SMASH A HILLY IRON RUN

There’s no sugar coating this one – hills at the end of an Ironman are killer. And that’s an understatement! It’s hard enough to run the marathon after the 3.8km swim and 180km bike, let alone it being a hilly one. Sorry, not the best way to start the answer to this question! Ha!

NUTRITION IS KEY

The first thing to do is not ‘over-bike’, even if you’ve raced a full Ironman before.
