Corona takes centre stage

THERE could not have been a more fitting winner in the Spillers medium freestyle than Claire Knowles and the aptly named mare Corona S. The irony of their win did not escape Claire, or the owner of the 13-year-old Tuschinski daughter, Louise Darlington.
“We always joke that only Louise could own a horse with the same name as a killer virus,” laughed Claire. “When we filled in the entry form for the championships, I felt we had to write, ‘She’s not contagious!’”
Name aside, this victory was a welcome
