In response to Charles Farley’s reply about Borg clocks (Aug. 13): Around 1985, when I was dabbling with one of my first antique cars, a 1949 Ford Tudor, it had a stuck clock. I removed the clock to find a small paper hangtag saying George W. Borg company still tied with string to the case. I’m surprised Ford didn’t remove these on the assembly line.
