As we all know (or suspected), all the cool kids are online with their heads and it’s helpfully called . It offers a feature-full cloud-based collaborative document editing experience and all that good stuff you’d expect! But offering an online service requires infrastructure, support, maintained servers, continuous development… all that expensive good stuff! Furthermore, The Document Foundation has been deliberately structured so it’s unable to offer that sort of activity directly.
