When lockdown began, few of us expected it to be a positive experience, but being furloughed or working from home gave many of us more time for working out. Indeed, research shows not only were two-thirds of Brits embracing exercise, 42 per cent of us were training even more than before. Not only that, we were trying out new types of exercise and falling in love with activities we would not otherwise have tried, such as running.
