IN FOR A SHOCK
I have read the various articles and letters on this issue with bemusement as well as amusement. All people are entitled to their own views but I really cannot agree with Guy Dormehl (Electrified future, July 2020) on this topic.
Personally, I have no issue with electric cars. However, I feel they are really only suited to urban areas. The issue forcing manufacturers (primarily in Europe) to offer electric vehicles are the increasingly stringent EU emissions regulations, which get tightened each year.
