YOUR MBY

CAT FIGHT

Congratulations on your recent test of the Fountaine Pajot MY40 and Beneteau Swift Trawler 41. Having owned both a Fountaine Pajot MY37 and now a Beneteau ST47, I have first-hand knowledge of both brands.

The Fountaine Pajot was our first catamaran after many years of monohulls. We initially loved the space, cosmetic design and the stability at anchor. The downsides were the rough weather ride, the availability/price of berthing and the penny-pinching – having to go to the fly to use the horn!
