TO continue our four-part series looking back at the glories of London 2012, we reminisce about the first equestrian discipline to take place, the eventing.
It was immediately apparent that the horse sport at this Olympics, taking place right in the heart of our capital city, would be very special. Greenwich’s historic buildings formed the nearby backdrop, while the London skyline could be seen in the distance, with cross-country fences cleverly positioned to provide wonderful photos.
