20 grams x 8o Matsuno seed beads – purple

20 grams x 10 o Matsuno seed beads – copper

8 x 1.3cm round buttons – sapphire

1 x 1.8cm round button – sapphire

DESIGN NOTE

Thread work must be firm all the way through this project.

STEP ONE

Small beded button disk

Using 1m of beading thread, thread 4 x 8o purple seed beads. With needle going in the same direction, thread through all of the seed beads again, leaving a 10cm tail; tie a double knot. Needle through one bead to start work away from the knot.

STEP TWO

Thread 2 x 10 o copper seed beads, take thread through next 8 o from the first row. Thread 2 x 10 o
