John Bunyan was a 17th Century English preacher and prolific writer who was persecuted and imprisoned for his religious practice and teachings. In his extraordinary life, Bunyan authored over 50 sermons and the allegory The Pilgrim’s Progress, one of the most published English language works of all time.
