Corvettes are relatively easy to restore. It is not too difficult to remove a Corvette body and fiberglass doesn’t rust (although fiberglass can weather from prolonged exposure to the elements). Older Corvette chassis are fairly robust and simple to work on. The availability of reproduction parts is very good from places such as Volunteer Vette Products (www.volvette.com).
On the other hand, repairing a Corvette body does require a certain level of fiberglass expertise. If the car is a rare model with rare parts that needs to be authentically restored for maximum value, it may be difficult to source new-old-stock (NOS) parts.
