BMWS 1000 R

Like the MT-10, the BMW S 1000 R is getting a bit long in the tooth, but anything that shares an engine with an S 1000 RR, even if it’s not the latest one, works for us here at Fast Bikes. It doesn’t make ‘RR’ power, but that’s not the end of the world because 165bhp is still not to be sniffed at. The sport version that we were testing comes with some saucy extra parts like LED indicators, heated grips, cruise control and a shifter and blipper which certainly gives the R an air of sophistication that belies its £11,570 price tag.
