Q My 1974 1275GT is currently being restored. This won’t be to its original spec, but will be in keeping with the general era – modifications will include Revolution four-spoke alloys.
At the moment I am looking for a wheelarch to fit the Clubman, ideally a set where the front arch runs the full length of the wheel and tapers in as it finishes (as opposed to a three-quarter arch that stops with an abrupt end like the standard Mini special one). The Wood & Pickett style wheelarch has been recommended but I’m unsure whether it will fit the Clubman front end. Have you any idea if it will fit, or can you recommend any alternatives?
I’m also undecided regarding the car colour. Where is the best place to establish the original colour choice, including examples of the finish?

A Wood & Pickett used the Clubman for a lot of its coachbuilt conversions so we believe that the arches may well have been developed for the Clubman in the first place. We have seen them fitted to Clubmans over the years and they have always fitted well.
There are plenty of options out there, but as for being a direct fit, we couldn’t
