    • Noel has been reading Mini Magazine since the’90s. He owned his 1970 Mini 1000 from 1999 until 2015. He bought it as a half-stripped shell and bought a low mileage Metro 1300 at the same time with the plan to get his friend, Bert, to build a fast Mini with the 1275 A+ Metro engine as well as the Metro’s four-pot disc brakes and front seats.

    Bert, who owned the Hereford Mini & Metro Centre built up the car over 5 years in his spare time with help from Noel
