I quite often refer to myself as the little girl that just never grew out of horses. I vividly remember my first ever ride on a horse. A little pie-bald mare in a cold, windy paddock somewhere in country Queanbeyan. I don’t recall a lot of my childhood memories, but that one, is still as clear as the day I was there.
