But I have no doubt that the resourceful team of British offshore racing stars will find another time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Barlo Plastics becoming the first and only British team to have ever won the Tour de France à la Voile.

With fellow Brit Tony Buckingham’s Easy Oars in third, Liberation newspaper called it a ‘Tour de France Britannique’, the sailors pre-dating their cycling counterparts by a dozen years!
