Can a luxury become a necessity? The answer is probably no, but let’s go with yes, shall we? Acquiring a boat for the annual pilgrimage to south Devon was something I was told to do for years by friends and family alike. I was assured it would change holidays as we knew them and, guess what, my friends and family were right.
