Lawsuit settled, Spring Carlisle goes on

HARRISBURG, Pa. _ In the end, the show did go on.

Carlisle Events did manage to hold Spring Carlisle June 18-20, despite being hit with a lawsuit on Wednesday of show week by the Pennsylvania Health Department that threatened to shut down the event. An emergency hearing was held in Commonwealth Court on Thursday in an attempt to settle the dispute. When no agreement was reached that day, the court was set to reconvene Friday, but the two sides were able to reach a deal and the event was allowed to continue. The dispute revolved around whether the huge car show and swap meet violated the state’s 250-person limit during its “Green” phase
