THOSE WERE THE DAYS
I FULLY agree with Joanna Dakin (letters, 11 June) and Graham Fletcher’s comment (30 April) about the lack of showjumping on TV. I too remember the days as a 10-year-old with the family sitting around the television, on the edge of our seats watching the puissance. We knew all the riders and their horses. David Broome was my hero and I wanted to be Pat Smythe.
