Fiddling away with lockdownfriendly hobbies, it has been fun to learn a little of flytying and handloading rifle ammunition. As the days dribbled past in a socially-distanced blur, I soon started to ponder the practicalities of designing and building my own traps.
Rats came into the sheds over the course of last winter and, while many of them dispersed into the countryside with the coming of spring, I was left with a residual population around the yard where chicken feed is always on offer.
