    American Idol superstar and US-based talk show host Kelly Clarkson has been singing about heartbreak ever since her meteoric rise to fame in 2002.

    But last week life imitated art for the 38-year-old performer after it was revealed she had filed for divorce against her husband Brandon Blackstock, 43, who is also her manager.

    After nearly seven years of marriage, documents filed in a Los Angeles court on June 4 reveal the singer is listing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and point to her lengthy pre-nup.

    The mother-of-two has also reportedly requested joint legal
