TREE TUNNELS AND THE SCENT OF PINE NEEDLES on a sunny day is a treat largely reserved for this maritime region of Victoria. Twisting roads lead riders along rugged coastlines made infamous by disappearing Prime Ministers and shipwrecks, above turquoise bays that beg for snorkelers and adventurers. With more views and variety than you can poke a spoke at, the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria is worthy of a place on every cyclist's bucket list.
The routes on offer are many and varied, with a network of roads criss-crossed throughout the peninsula that forms one side of the bay in which Melbourne nestles.
