A roadblock is seldom a pleasant experience, unless you’re asked to pull over by six lions on Tlou Drive in the Pilanesberg!

Two young lions and four lionesses walked straight towards me when I visited the reserve in early March this year. It’s not every day you see lions walking next to each other like this.

My wife Antoinette and I recently stayed at one of the Eagle’s Nest chalets at Klein-Aus Vista in southern Namibia. I set up my camera to take photos of the Milky Way around 8 pm one evening and when I looked up, I saw a satellite.
