JUDY HAD NOT SPOKEN TO her sister in thirty years. One night as she added the usual “Bless Mary Beth” to her prayers, she sensed a clear message: Judy felt shocked. “Ask for forgiveness?” But she flew out to visit Mary Beth, who was in poor health. When Mary Beth said she didn’t feel like she could be forgiven for the life she’d led, Judy shared the love of Jesus and then mailed her a Bible. Two months later, Mary Beth was found dead. Nearby the Bible lay, open to a psalm.
