With all bars and restaurants closed, and the idea of a romantic mini-break off the table, couples up and down the country are having to think of creative date-night ideas. Which is how pop star and radio DJ Fleur East and her husband Marcel Badiane-Robin came to celebrate their first wedding anniversary sipping fizz in a makeshift den in their living room.
“Well it’s not like we could go out anywhere,” laughs Fleur, who constructed the den out of chairs, blankets and throws as a surprise for Marcel, whom she married last June in a magical ceremony in Morocco covered exclusively by HELLO! .
