REPRESENT

I was the only man in the group, the only one from rural Nebraska and the only one who hunted.

Three minutes into the weeklong writer’s workshop, I sensed that representing my values was going to be a challenge. I settled in and prepared myself to be the oddity from out west for the next five days.
