The decaying corpse of the once-thriving British kit car industry is mostly mummified by now, but it still has one or two twitches left in it. One of those is the continuing high values of Cobra replicas, and the slow rise of what are now becoming historic kit cars: more people are realising that a Cortinabased Lotus Seven lookalike is a lot more fun than a Cortina, as it always was.
