Which countries have handled COVID-19 best?
THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS HAS SHIFTED TO THE AMERICAS, according to the World Health Organization. Now is the time to reflect on which countries handled the initial outbreak response better than others—both as an example for other countries to follow and to gauge which countries are best positioned for what comes next. In that spirit, the team at Eurasia Group developed a methodology to assess key country responses across three areas: health care management, political response and financial-policy response.
