EDITOR’S LETTER

IMPLY PUT, THIS wasn’t the editor’s letter I was planning on writing. I became co-editor in chief of magazine on my birthday, February 28, but the celebration was short-lived. In early March, the world changed forever as stay-at-home orders, business closures, and growing tallies of deaths became the new reality. As a leading LGBTQ news organization, our team has had the immense responsibility of reporting on the pandemic’s daily impacts on the LGBTQ community, and marginalized groups within our community that have their own specific health needs.
