NIKKEI MUBI Japanese Canadian Home Movies

At the Nikkei National Museum, our mandate is to honour, preserve, and share Japanese culture and Japanese Canadian history and heritage for a better Canada. Recently, we completed the conservation and digitization of our moving image collection as part of the project, These home movies were created by Japanese Canadians, and document their lives in British Columbia and Alberta from the 1920s to the 1970s.
