The focus is on online battles for eight players, either team-based or in solo mode. The weirdness carries across to the melee combat, where you can hide in the map as an object and blow bubbles to get special abilities like air-dashes and charges. This joins more standard actions like double-jumps and wall-runs, but even the size of your weapon can be increased by defeating drones that pop-up mid-battle.
