RITA ORA PITCHES UP TO LIFT DEFLATED FANS
Three years after she first urged fans to be (a little less) Lonely Together, Rita Ora showed them one way to achieve it, by posting photos aimed at anyone pining for a summer of festivals and outdoor music during lockdown.
The images on Instagram showed Rita posing in a field, with balloons and a tent in the background (left). “Made a lil outdoor balloon party,” her caption read.
The singer (performing at Glastonbury in 2013, right) recently took part in BBC Radio 1’s virtual Big Weekend, which featured a stellar line-up of acts performing in their own homes (or, in Rita’s case, at the rented farmhouse where she is staying in the Cotswolds). Uploading the video of her performance of the 2017 Avicii hit, she told her social media followers: “This one was so much fun!! Shout out to my amazingggg band for helping make this so special.”
