Essential lockdown maintenance

The lockdown period we are enduring is frustrating but one that is necessary to help save lives. I am sure everyone will agree it is essential that the restrictions laid down are adhered to. The unfortunate consequences mean there are no rallies, ride-outs or just the simple opportunity to go out on your scooter. When the restrictions are lifted it's inevitable that there will be an almighty scramble with everyone getting back out on the road again. Therefore, it is important that your scooter is 100% ready and that any maintenance required has been carried out. With all this time on our hands, there is no excuse not to have everything ready. There can be nothing more frustrating than not being able to go back out on the road when it is possible to do so because something on your scooter has let you down. Also, during the period off the road, the MoT certificate may have expired. You will want to make sure that it's up to standard so it will pass its test first time. Again, it's a delay you could do without because the scooter won't be legal without its 'ticket'.

This type of maintenance is not about fully rebuilding a scooter and having it apart for several months.
