A world-renowned rock climber and expedition leader, 33-year-old Jess Dufton has conquered some of the toughest climbs the UK has to offer. He’s also blind.

Dufton suffers from a degenerative condition called rod-cone dystrophy, as well as astigmatism and cataracts. He was born with approximately 20 per cent of his central vision and from that drastically low baseline his vision has deteriorated further ever since.
