Going the distance

With the lambs on most of my sheep farms now large enough not to be easily taken by foxes, my shooting partner Gary and I can now breathe a cautious sigh of relief. It’s been another busy year with close to 200 foxes falling to our rifles over the past four months and this year we have only lost a small number of lambs over all the farms we look after.

No doubt the use of better night vision, thermal and other equipment has helped us to take a slightly larger number of foxes this year over previous years. Gary and I have both been using the Rekon tripods which we have agreed enable us to take a few extra shots that we would otherwise have perhaps passed up.
