For many women, they grow up believing their dad is a hero, and that couldn’t have been more true in my case. My dad, Mark, was my daily inspiration, still is, and all I’ve ever wanted is to make him proud. That’s why these past few years have been so incredibly difficult.
It was one afternoon in September 2016, as I sat in school rush-hour traffic on my way to pick up Finn, then 10, and Abbey, five, that Dad’s number flashed up on my hands-free.
