n the seventies Steve Jobs worked for Atari while his friend and eventual, a variant of , which involved hitting a ball against a brick wall to “break out” of it. Jobs was offered an extra $1,000 if he completed the design with fewer than 40 computer chips. Working late at night, Jobs enlisted Woz to do the design for him while he provided the Cokes and sweets for the late–night session. Woz completed the design in 44 chips — an amazing feat but it only scooped him a $700 bonus. It is alleged Jobs lied about how much he was given when paying Wozniak.
