AS the name implies, Anglo-Nubian goats originated from crosses of such she-goats as alreadyof 1897. It was not until 1912, however, that Anglo-Nubians were segregated from the General Section of the to a section by themselves, where between 400 and 500 of them were renumbered to form the nucleus of a special breed.
